The video clip "Monkey Service Animal Discrimination Video" is from our Service Animals Category.
Video Details: In this video clip the city of Springfield, Missouri denies a local woman and her service monkey access to local businesses. Monkey Helpers assist quadriplegic, people with severe spinal cord injuries or mobility-impairments, and persons with disabilities. Service monkeys can be trained to help out by doing tasks including microwaving food, washing a persons face, and opening drink bottles. Some organizations like, Helping Hands (www.monkeyhelpers.org/), have been successfully training and placing capuchin monkeys as in-home service animals for over 30 years.
