She has no shoulders, arms or hands and only the lower half of her left leg. She uses her three toes for eating, writing, playing the trumpet and fulfilling her passion for sailing. Ame also plays the trumpet and has gained a University sports scholarship. Ame began sailing aged seven with special servo assist controls.
