In this video clip of adaptive skiing we see Anne Rader skiing in Vail CO with Asa McKee an instructor with the Vail Adaptive Program. Anne has skied powder and moguls with this device. She is in complete control of turning and all Asa is doing is controlling her speed, acting as brakes. A slider is a support device so that a person with a disability has the freedom and ability to ski any run on the hill.
Further information on the various types of adaptive skiing and programs including adaptive skiing locations.
